Mr. Friedman founded Flexis Capital in 2009. Prior to joining Flexis, Mr. Friedman was President, Private Equity and Longer-Term Investments at a multi-strategy hedge fund. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Friedman was at Bear, Stearns & Co. where he served as a Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and Global Chairman of Mergers & Acquisitions. He was also a member of the Investment Committee for Bear Stearns Merchant Banking and served on the President's Advisory Council. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Friedman was a Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and built the Media & Communications M&A Group into one of Wall Street's top-ranked teams in the sector. In addition, while at DLJ he worked to source, structure and execute direct investments for DLJ Merchant Banking. Prior to DLJ, Mr. Friedman was at Wasserstein Perella & Co., which he joined at its founding in 1988 from the First Boston Corporation (where he had been in the M&A department). Mr. Friedman received an A.B. with honors and distinction in economics and history from Stanford University in 1983, and a J.D. with honors from Stanford Law School in 1986.
Mr. Dobres joined Flexis Capital at its founding in 2009. Prior to joining Flexis, Mr. Dobres was a Vice President at a multi-strategy hedge fund, where he focused on private equity investments and public investments in the media and communications sectors. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Dobres was a Vice President and prior to that an Associate in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking group at Bear, Stearns & Co. where he advised companies and financial sponsors on mergers and acquisitions and debt financings. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Dobres was an attorney in the mergers and acquisitions group of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Mr. Dobres received a B.B.A. with distinction from Emory University in 1999, and a J.D. with honors from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2002.
Robert L. Wu joined Flexis Capital in 2011. Prior to Flexis, Mr. Wu was a Senior Manager at the National Basketball Association, where he was involved in collective bargaining negotiations and corporate development. Previously, he worked in the private equity division of Quadrangle Group, where he focused on investments in the media and communications industries. Mr. Wu began his career in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking group at Bear, Stearns & Co. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. cum laude in Applied Economics and Management and Biological Sciences.
Will Keigler joined Flexis Capital in 2018. Previously, Mr. Keigler was an investment banking Associate at Shot Tower Capital where he advised companies and financial sponsors in the media and technology industries on capital raises, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Shot Tower, he was an Analyst in the Investment Banking group at M&T Bank Corporation. Mr. Keigler received a B.S. cum laude in Business and Economics from Washington and Lee University in 2010, and an M.B.A. with dean’s honors from Columbia Business School in 2018.
Reid Jacoby joined Flexis Capital in 2017. Previously, Mr. Jacoby was an Analyst in the Technology and Business Services Investment Banking group at RBC Capital Markets, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions as well as equity and debt financings. Prior to joining RBC Capital Markets in 2014, Mr. Jacoby worked as an Analyst in the Ultra High Net Worth Private Bank group at J.P. Morgan. He received a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2012 with a concentration in Finance.
Andrea Hagan joined Flexis Capital in 2011 and is a member of the Investment Committee. From 1991 to 2001, she was in the investment banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston, most recently as a Managing Director in the Media & Communications Group. While at DLJ and CSFB, she worked with a broad range of companies in the emerging telecom, cable, broadcasting, publishing, advertising and marketing services sectors across a variety of high yield, advisory, merchant banking, initial public offering and equity transactions. Ms. Hagan received an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1991 and a BSAcc magna cum laude from the University of Denver in 1985.
Elizabeth Moskowski joined Flexis Capital in 2010, soon after its inception. She plays an integral role in the development and management of the organization’s strategic goals and daily operations, working closely with the firm’s Managing Partner, investors, and other professionals. Her prior experience emphasized customer and client experiences, in both public and private sectors. She is an active volunteer at various non-profit organizations. Ms. Moskowski received a BS from Sacred Heart University, with a focus on Mediation and Conflict Resolution.
